"Sunday SChool is Instrumental in Preparing Us to share the WOrd and WOrks of Jesus"

Christian Education is the permanent challenge to the work of the Church.  Jesus gave us the perfect example in his word by teaching and commanding us to spread the Gospel.  Sunday School is instrumental in preparing us to share the Word and Works of Jesus.


Jesus was going throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the Gospel of the Kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness among the people (Matthew 4:23)


And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; 13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ (Ephesians 4:11-13) 


Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you [b]always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:19-20)

  • Sunday School

    The Bethel Baptist Sunday School is the main teaching arm of the Church.  The goal of this Ministry is to direct people toward Jesus Christ and to instruct them in their daily walk with Christ. 


    The Sunday School is structured for everyone beginning with a cradle roll class and continuing through adult.  Sunday School is every Sunday at 9 AM.

  • PRayer Service

    Prayer service consists of songs, praises, reading of scriptures, prayers, testimonies and fellowship.  All are welcome.

  • Bible Study

    Bible study is an integral part of Christian development.  At bible study you get the chance to ask in-depth questions concerning the Bible and God's plan for his people.  Bible Study is taught weekly by Pastor Byron Williams or a designated person.  It starts at 7:15 every Wednesday.  Call in at 727-731-8599.

  • Board Of Christian Education

    This Ministry is responsible for developing and interpreting to the Church Membership the educational objectives of Bethel Baptist Church.  Members are also responsible for studying, preparing, scheduling classes, attending and hosting workshops and leadership training for Bethel members.


    This Ministry is responsible for the educational needs for Sunday School, Youth and Children Ministries, Missions, Vacation Bible School, Weekly Religious Education, New Members Class, Choirs and other classes and seminars. 

  • New Members OrientatioN Class

    The purpose of this class is to provide information on the rights and responsibilities of Bethel Baptist Church members.  This class helps to develop strong Christians who will be able to encourage and contribute to Bethel as we grow together in Christ.  It also provides each new member with a firm foundation about the Salvation of the Church as the Body of Christ and Bethel's role as a part of that Body.  New Members Orientation meets on Saturdays at 1PM.  A variety of information is covered including;

    The Fall of Man, The Gift of Salvation, The Church Ordinances, and The Church Covenant.
